The BCYSA Community Award is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates the exemplary achievements and contributions of individuals who have worked to foster friendship between Bangladesh and China. The award seeks to promote friendship between the two countries by honoring those who have made outstanding community service contributions, provided social services, shown leadership, excelled in journalism or writing, and achieved scholastic success. The award will inspire and engage more young people and professionals in the future to continue developing the bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and China. We do believe this award will play a vital role in fostering leadership qualities and community service commitment in the young people of Bangladesh. The BCYSA Community Award is open to public nominations of individuals who have made significant contributions to Bangladesh-China friendship over the years 2020-2021.
Objectives:
The BCYSA Community Award is an annual event that recognizes individuals' significant achievements that create a sense of state pride, unity, and those who serve as role models to the broader community.
BCYSA Community Award Categories:
The award will be provided to those who have great contributions to the development of the Bangladesh-China friendship and to support the Bangladeshi community in China by writing articles and publishing news on news portals, drawing the arts, designing graphics arts, making photography, and doing volunteering.
a) Outstanding Writer Awards
Bangladeshi students and professionals in China are invited to submit their published articles or online links where they are published, along with their applications. Articles or literature should reflect the development of the Bangladesh-China relationship and community supports for the Bangladeshi people in China. All submissions will be judged based on originality, creativity, theme, and execution.
b) Outstanding Journalist Awards
Outstanding Journalist Awards will be given to Bangladeshi Students and professionals in China who demonstrated good Journalism (in news media) published online or in print and electronic media. News should be related to present the achievements and stories of the Bangladeshi Community in China and the development of the Bangladesh-China relationship. All submissions will be judged based on originality, creativity, theme, and execution.
c) Outstanding Visual Artist Awards
Bangladeshi students and professionals in China who support or have contributed to humanity, the Bangladeshi community in China, and developing a Bangladesh-China relationship through their painting, drawing, or designing digital graphic arts are, are highly encouraged to submit their work for the category of Outstanding Visual Artist Awards.
All submissions will be judged based on originality, creativity, theme, and execution. Applicants are required to submit their works with a short description of the artwork, including the title and date of the drawing.
d) Outstanding Photographer Awards
Bangladeshi students and professionals who have made significant contributions to cross-cultural activities and people's lives through their photography are eligible to apply for this category. All submissions will be judged based on originality, creativity, theme, and execution. Applicants are required to write a short description of the submitted photograph with the title and date of capturing.
e) Outstanding Volunteer Awards/ Volunteer of the Year
Bangladeshi students and professionals in China are encouraged to submit the volunteering activities they have carried out either in Bangladesh or China. Volunteer work should be dedicated to the local community to support humanity and social development. All submissions will be judged based on originality, creativity, theme, and execution.

Who are eligible to apply?
The current students of Bangladesh who are studying in China and the professionals who work in China are eligible to apply.
