Moin Uddin Helaly Thouhid is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering at the China University of Petroleum Beijing. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu, China. He is interested to research in heavy oil development techniques. He was a teaching assistant and international student representative at Southwest Petroleum University. Except for teaching assistants he has been working with some organizations such as World Scouting, CBFC, BCYSA, Sebabratee Mukta Scout Group, and Sebabratee Foundation. He has experience working in organizations at both national and international levels. He became a member of the BCYSA in 2020. He is the Publications Secretary of BCYSA and also served the Bangladesh-China Youth Student Association as a News Sub-Editor in 2021-22 and was also an active member of the BCYSA magazine editorial team. He got the Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship for overseas students for his excellent academic results in 2019, 2020 & 2021. He also achieved the highest awards for the Boy Scouts in Bangladesh the “President’s Scout Award” from the honorable president of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Abdul Hamid in 2015. He was born in 1998 at Cox's Bazar and spent his childhood in Dhaka which is the capital of Bangladesh. He is very fond of soccer and loves to play soccer. He cares about society’s problems and concerned about environmental pollution. He is a very optimistic and hard-working person who believes in strategic planning. He is passionate and determined to enhance the China-Bangladesh relationship. His life motto is “Do your best to be prepared for service”.
