Chinese Spouse Visa Application Process S1 visa (more than 6 months)/S2 visa (6 months or less)

Step by Step Processing:

I. After you arrive in china first applies for the residence permit. Then you need to apply to the University for an off-campus accommodation form where you will mention in a remark that you will live off campus with your wife/husband.

II. After you get your residence permit please take your passport to the nearest police station to get the new accommodation registration paper.

III. This step is to prepare the papers of your spouse. 

        The checklist below:    

1. Your studentship letter photocopy.
2. Photocopy of your passport.
3. Photocopy of your visa/resident permit.
4. Invitation letter of yours (Write a simple letter titled invitation letter mentioning your and your spouse’s name and passport no, write the date, and sign it.)
5. It is also possible if you want to show your Chinese bank statement for your spouse, you just need to show more than 12,000 yuan in your bank account with 6 months statement.
6. Marriage certificate’s (This is one of the most important documents) 
7. 1stly marriage certificate is needed to be attested by the Law Ministry of Bangladesh.
8. 2ndly attested by the Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh 
9. Then, go for attesting from the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh.
