A Great journey of Wushu Competition.
We Achieve Remarkable Success at the "Hong Weiguo Cup" Wushu Competition.
I was a participant in a numerical competition. However, here I would like to express one of the best competitions in my life where I achieved remarkable success. Before starting, I would like to thank the International Education Institute (ISU) Of North China Electric Power University for organizing such an opportunity for international students. The competition was held on November 25, 2023, at the "Hong Weiguo Cup" Capital Higher Education Seventh International Students Wushu Competition, which was held at Beijing Language and Culture University. This prestigious event gathered hundreds of athletes from 18 universities, including renowned institutions such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, and North China Electric Power University. The competition provided a vibrant platform for showcasing international students' diverse talents and skills in the ancient Chinese martial art of Wushu. Our university's international student team participated with remarkable success, guided by the expertise and dedication of our International Education Institute and coaches.
Cao Yunhua, Director of the Physical Education Department, led our university's participation, along with coaches Hu Xiujuan, Zhang Yan, and Chen Zilu. Their leadership and guidance were instrumental in preparing our students for the competition. The rigorous training and strategic planning facilitated by these dedicated professionals enabled our team to compete at a high level and achieve outstanding results.

Their behavior earned them high praise from the competition organizers, highlighting the integrity and character of our athletes.
Our team's success can be attributed to the rigorous preparation and disciplined training that preceded the competition. Our students maintained a severe and hardworking attitude in every training session, diligently practicing fundamental movements and refining their techniques. Their polished performances during the competition showed their relentless commitment to excellence.
After each competition, our students thoroughly analyze their performances and those of their peers. They carefully observe the techniques of outstanding players from other universities, identifying strengths to emulate and areas for improvement. Utilizing video playback, they conduct detailed reviews to pinpoint their own weaknesses and develop strategies for enhancement. This reflective practice is a cornerstone of their continuous improvement process, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
