Rayan Rahman: I see a lot of my younger and older brothers & sisters need proper information about working in China. When I was in the process, I had to struggle a lot because I did not have the proper information, but one of my big brothers helped me a lot on the matter, So I thought I will write a detailed informative post for all my brothers/sisters and return the favor. This will be an honest and long writing. So, bear with me.

In China, the work permit card has three categories A, B & C. There is a point scoring system to determine which category you will fall in. Find your tier from here. Category B & C are more common in the field, so let’s discuss them.

Category B: If you are living in China and have a score from 60-84 u fall in this category. For category B you will need the following documents:

1. Police Clearance Certificate with validity from your country.

2. Minimum of a Master’s degree in education or two years working experience certificate.

3. Company registration certificate (the company you will work for)

4. Your Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity

5. A Labor Contract from your company, concerning your work position, salary, working time, etc. (this will be written by your company with company seal & your signature)

in this case, the salary range has to be 4 times the average salary in the region.

With these documents, your company with a Chinese ID will apply for your work permit and within 5 days you will have a result if you can get a work permit card. If there is any shortage of documents the system will notify and ask to resubmit that particular document. For this category if you are in China you do not have to go back you can directly get your VISA from here.

Category C: If your score is under 60 points you will fall in this category. For Category C you will need the following documents:
